BECAUSE IT'S TOTALLY TRUE. Kevin's head is always in profile. When shown from the back it still connects from a corner rather than from the middle. Either his head is actually an impossible shape or his face is actually on the side of a rectangle rather than the expected (and biologically acceptable) front. And I know it's ironic that goofy headshape Nazz is the one telling him off (I checked and that actually IS how you draw her head in profile) but I wanted it to have an impact on Kevin.

I strayed from the Ed, Edd n' Eddy style in the last panel because I wanted to test out some extreeeeme expressions. Ignore the lack of Kevin's haircolour - this was just a late night doodle. Sorry about the weirdy layout.

I think Nazz's head needs to be a bit bigger in the back. Try to capture an image of Kevin moving left to right (or the other way around)

LOL yes so true! Also something weird goes on with his head when he takes his hat off, it's like something I can't explain. XD Anyway awesome! Last panel is hilarious!

When I draw him from the front, I always turn it into Edd's headshape. IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE. As confusing as Kev's design is, when the storyboarders actually get wild with his expressions (a good lot of 'This Won't Hurt an Ed' and the beginning of 'Tinker Ed' are all I can think of), it really is impressive.

As rare as that is, at least we can take solice in knowing that they got rid of his original, ugly oval-ish eyes and his fingers that were hardly more than tiny twigs. XP
