This has been a labour of love to get it looking as good as I can.

This is a might have been scenario I dreamt up. It takes place as an alternative ending to 'A Fistful of Ed'. It involves Jimmy failing to beat up Edd, due to another of his implausible accidents that had plagued him throughout the episode. The idea is that Sarah was also a victim of one of these accidental beatings, which spurred Ed into action. The next day, Ed confronted Edd and was forced to beat the living daylights out of him.

I don't know why I dreamt this up - I'm not big on fan-fics and I haven't thought of alternative endings for any other episodes. I also don't think this should have been the ending for the episode; Ed had been through enough torment already without having to beat up his best friend whom he loves (in a friend way, people.) I'm also not a very emotional person, so please don't suggest this is a way of me dealing with depression or something like that (that'll have to wait until Thursday when my GCSE results come!) I guess I just thought this ending would have dripped with emotion, with Ed throwing punch after punch knowing that each thwack would hurt the person who has comforted and nurtured him throughout his life, trying to forget all the good times they've had. With Eddy seeing his two best friends locked in a fight he couldn't break up with both of them at rock bottom. Finally, with Edd trying to convince himself that the person smashing him around really would one day call him his friend again.

I know Ed looks like he's looking at a broken nail or something, but he's supposed to be looking at Edd with a mixture of fear, love and attempted anger trying to force himself to make the final blow. This is an original piece. I even tried drawing a background; something I very rarely do. I really am proud of it.
